Been making GOOD progress…

So it’s honestly been a while since we last posted anything on the blog. That’s due to the fact that we’ve been ripping through code like it was no ones business! lol

In the past few months we’ve made some pretty good progress. Had a couple of set-backs that elongated the development time but over all I would say that those were leasons that we needed to learn early on versus later when you guys are using the service. So thats good

We just about finished the search results page and most of the features in the Lite version. The Lite version will be a small taste of what’s to come from us but power enough for you guys to experiance some of the benefits that we are bringing to the table through jCompare. We are very excited about launching something for you guys to use VERY soon and look forward to your feed back!

So the development of the home page is JUST ABOUT done. It’s a very exciting time because Josue, Sebastian and I have been putting in a lot of time in the planning and execution of the site with the home page as the launching pad of the experience.

In not so many words, the goal was to make the search on the home page as functional as possible. This way, we could move the user from the home page directly to the purchase. Let’s see how the usability testing goes!

New Coming Soon

Just got up the new coming soon page up. The old one was missing a special something… oh yea, the ability to comunicate what exactly jcompare is. My bad, minor over sight!

The new one actually tells people what they are signing up for and also keeps with the design of the rest of the site (not that you would know that though). Oh, and the new design has a link to this blog! So now people know that this blog exists. Yup, that’s right! SEO people hold on to your hats ’cause I’m coming to get ‘cha.

Either way, enjoy.

Inauguration Day

So it came and it went.

The day that America made history was televised – a lot! And we watched, I know that I did, for hours actually. And now that the talking heads are laid to bed and the hopeful are tossing and turning in restless excitment for the slightest possibility of a way forward – we wait. Egerly and optimistic, we wait. We wait, for the moment where each one of us, as the rhetoric has bestoed upon us and duty to our neighbor and country demands of us, can make a diffrence. To do what’s right. To do what we should have done in the past but never did. To make things right.

So during our development of jCompare we found ourselves realizing that we needed a blog. Something that said, “Hey, we’re working on stuff and this is what’s up”. Hence the jBlog – yea I know, the name is pretty epic.

Over the next few days/weeks we’ll be posting here often and filling you guys in on the “trails and tribulations” involved in developing something kick ass.
